Computers, Freedom, and Privacy 2009
Gerade bin ich durch Ralf Bendrath auf diese Konferenz aufmerksam geworden: Computers, Freedom, and Privacy 2009 die vom June 1-4, 2009 in Washington DC stattfindet. Hört sich sehr spannend an.
The 19th annual Computers Freedom and Privacy (CFP 2009) conference will be at the Marvin Center at George Washington University in Washington, DC, June 1-4, 2009.
We’re expecting the usual mix of brilliant and forward-looking activists, technologists, academics, and government experts. The United States is just several months into a new administration, and Washington, DC, is undergoing rapid change. As the technology revolution rolls on, we are confronting new issues that, as usual, CFP attendees will perceive before anyone else.
Wo: Washington DC
Wann: 1. - 4. Juni
Information about the program is on our program page.
This year's conference will also include a number of participatory forums open to all conference attendees, including:
- a hands-on "Geekshare"
- an open forum for 5-minute presentations
- a research showcase (see below)
- and of course, CFP's time-honored "Birds of a Feather" sessions
